Finally had a chance to process all the friggn media. As always Vegas does not disapoint. Having to run around to get videos setup can be a bit of a drain, but seeing all the cool people and gear is always a blast. I always wish there were more days so I can see more stuff! It certainly rained a lot for being a desert. Apparently is abnormal as our glamourous Imperial Palace Hotel parking lot was flooded the majority of the time. Nothing says class like walking into a Chinese theme'd hotel casino with Kung Fu Fighting playing. I'd post a big string of youtube embeds, but that may slow some computers down so just drop on by my channel:

Tear and I had a chance to double fist photo duty to give a good assortment your way:

And as a special treat we stayed an extra day with our new buddies and hooked up with www.bentwoodgunsmithing.com and www.deserthillsshootingclub.com to get a sweet grab bag of weapons familiarization on. If you end up in the area, don't be shy as the general public can arrange to have the same treatment!

My ol' buddies from the Army Game project Tear and Pye came to the shop with me so I could show them what all we are up to. Had a great time hanging out and we even made a trip to West Coast Designz to show the T-shirt creation process. Pye took some sweet pics I think others will enjoy!

Graham Combat Training

One of my tactical buddies had some training lined up with Matt Graham and offered me to come join in the fun. Luckily the warehouse was semi in order so I jumped all up on it. Like many others you are probably thinking "Who the hell is Matt Graham?" And thus comes in my role to help spread the good word. Getting his start in law enforcement Matt has been in quite a few tactical departments in which his latest I can't even disclose. This variety in tactical work has created an impressive foundation for his current career emphasis as an instructor. Ranging from average folk to high speed active military, Matt has dropped some knowledge for them all.

For some local fun I jumped at the chance to sponsor this first annual dual purpose K9 competition and training event. I wasn't able to make it to every section, but did make it partially to both days on August 21st and August 22nd. Since I was generally uninformed on tactical K9s it was very cool to see their capabilities in action.

Tactical Response - THE FIGHT - Force on Force Scenarios

Back in February the Tactical Response wagon came nearby my neck of the woods and with a little help from Original Special Operations Equipment owner John Willis I was able to sneak on in. I had met James Yeager, (Head Boss-man of Tactical Response) a couple times at SHOT show and was looking forward to ‘’getting my training on ‘‘with him.

So my battle buddy Tear and I got our asses down to Galt CA early in the morning not knowing much to expect since we weren't told to bring much more gear besides full coverage clothes. Once there we were greeted by James Yeager and Kyle Lynch as the main instructors who assembled an impressive amount of role players as well. For this class the core class at Tactical Response “Fighting Pistol” is recommended and for good reason!
